Peaceful ruins of a 12th-century priory associated with Charles II, open free during daylight hours with dogs welcome on leads.
There is very limited lay-by parking and no facilities at the priory; nearby Boscobel House has toilets and refreshments. Keep dogs on leads and take care around uneven historic surfaces.
Know before you go
Confirm the current opening hours, any booking requirements and the specific areas your dog can use. A dog-friendly listing is not a promise of access to every part of a venue.
