For big skies
Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd offer upland footpaths from Church Stretton. The hills are exposed and grazed, so take suitable footwear, a lead and a route appropriate to your group.
For woodland
Comer Woods has trails on the Dudmaston estate. Lead rules apply in the car parks and Heath Meadow. Nesscliffe has woodland and heath, with some steeper sections.
For a gentler outing
Much of the Mere at Ellesmere has broad surfaced paths, but not the whole route is equally easy. Read the official access information and choose a comfortable turnaround point.
Policies and access can change. Confirm details with the venue before a special journey.
