English Heritage medieval manor where dogs on leads are welcome in the grounds. Other than assistance dogs, dogs cannot enter the castle buildings.
The site has uneven grass, stone and gravel, slopes and many stairs inside the castle. Parking is in a grass field around 300 metres from the entrance. Check current admission, opening and access information before visiting.
Know before you go
Confirm the current opening hours, any booking requirements and the specific areas your dog can use. A dog-friendly listing is not a promise of access to every part of a venue.
